Mind Your Resilience: Improve Your Response to Stress using Havening Techniques

Updated: Oct 12, 2022

This week we are delivering a workshop to 70 student Social Workers and Educators at Brunel University at an annual conference called Centring the Body on our Way to Healing.

The workshop is entitled Mind Your Resilience: Improve Your Response to Stress using Havening Techniques

The premise: Social work is getting tougher. Chronic stress is very common and it negatively impacts on health and performance. Learning tools to manage stress and tap into our resilience are essential professional skills that will help reduce attrition and improve service user outcomes as well as support social workers health and wellbeing during and after their career. Havening is a simple and effective tool, built from the ground up using neuroscience research, to help with optimising our resilience.
